Our Proven Process10 Steps to Sell

Our starting place.

We learn about your business and its financials in order to provide your with a comprehensive Business Valuation, which states what the business is worth and a fair market price.

To guarantee confidentiality throughout, all parties first sign the Seller Confidentiality Agreement (SCA), keeping everything confidential.

To officially enlist our services, the Broker Agreement is presented and signed. This document specifies the listing price and that we get paid when you do.

This document is designed to be seller-friendly and your attorney is welcome to review it.

Our team prepares the business to be listed, identifying audiences, channels and methods to set this listing apart.

The business listing goes live and our team dives deep into its extensive global network to let buyers know the business is available.

Listings use only generic information to aid in confidentiality. Interested properties sign our Buyer Confidentiality Agreement and provide proof of funds or receive lender pre-qualification.

We promise to only present to you serious, financially screened buyers.

Should an interested buyer need financing, we assist them by utilizing our network of lenders to best position them for purchase.

Who you sell to is your choice.

You and your broker review and evaluate offer(s) based on price, terms and industry experience.

The winning buyer gets an exclusive due diligence period to examine what has been presented about the business.

This includes reviewing tax returns, bank states and operations.

The buyer submits a draft Purchase Agreement. You and your attorney review, modify (if needed), agree and sign.

If needed, we can recommend an attorney.

Once all parties have signed the Purchase Agreement, a third-party escrow holds the buyer’s deposit until the business assets are transferred, at which point you receive the funds. The deal is then officially closed – CONGRATULATIONS!!

If specified in the Purchase Agreement, a brief transition period may take place to help the new owner become familiar and trained to operate the business.
